دس منٹ اور کامیابی
استاد نے کلاس کے سب بچوں کو ایک خوب صورت
ٹافی دی اور پھر ایک عجیب بات کہی۔
’’سنو بچو! آپ سب نے دس منٹ تک اپنی ٹافی نہیں کھانی۔‘‘
یہ کہہ کہ وہ کلاس روم سے نکل گئے ۔
چند لمحوں کے لیے کلا س میں خاموشی چھاگئی ،ہر بچہ اپنے سامنے پڑی ٹافی کو بے تابی
سے دیکھ رہا تھااور ہر گزرتے لمحے کے ساتھ ان کے لیے خود کو روکنا مشکل ہورہا تھا۔
دس منٹ پورے ہوئے اور استاد نے آ کر کلاس روم کا جائزہ لیا۔پوری کلاس میں سات بچے
ایسے تھے، جن کی ٹافیاں جوں کی توں تھیں، جب کہ باقی تمام بچے ٹافی کھا کر اس کے
رنگ اور ذائقے پر تبصرہ کر رہے تھے۔استاد نے چپکے سے ان سات بچوں کے نام اپنی
ڈائری میں نوٹ کیے اور پڑھانا شروع کردیا۔
اس استاد کا نام پروفیسر والٹر مشال تھا.
کچھ سالوں بعد استاد نے اپنی وہی ڈائری کھولی اور ان سات بچوں کے نام نکال کر ان
کے بارے میں تحقیق شروع کی ۔ کافی جدوجہد کے بعد ان کے بارے میں معلوم ہوا کہ وہ
اپنی زندگی میں کامیابی کے کئی زینے طے کر چکے ہیں اور ان کا شمار کامیاب افراد
میں ہوتا ہے۔پروفیسر والٹر نے اپنی کلاس کے باقی طلبہ کا بھی جائزہ لیا،معلوم ہوا
کہ ان میں اکثریت ایک عام سی زندگی گزار رہی تھی، جب کہ کچھ افراد ایسے بھی تھے،
جنھیں سخت معاشی اور معاشرتی حالات کا سامنا تھا۔
اس تمام تر کاوش اور تحقیق کا نتیجہ پروفیسر والٹر نے ایک جملے میں نکالا اور وہ
یہ تھا.
’’جو انسان دس منٹ تک صبر نہیں کرسکتا، وہ زندگی میں ترقی نہیں کر سکتا۔‘‘
اس تحقیق کو دنیا بھر میں پذیرائی ملی اور اس کا نام ’’مارش میلو تھیوری‘‘ پڑ گیا،
کیوں کہ پروفیسر والٹر نے بچوں کو جو ٹافی دی تھی، اس کا نام ’’مارش میلو‘‘تھا. یہ
فوم کی طرح نرم تھی ۔
اس تھیور ی کے مطابق دنیا کے کامیاب ترین افراد میں اور بہت ساری خوبیوں کے ایک
ساتھ ایک خوبی ’’صبر‘‘ کی بھی پائی جاتی ہے، کیوں کہ یہ خوبی انسان کی قوتِ برداشت
کو بڑھاتی ہے، جس کی بدولت انسان سخت حالات میں بھی مایوس نہیں ہوتا اور یوں وہ
ایک غیر معمولی شخصیت بن جاتا ہے.
"Listen, baby!" You all didn't eat your toffee for ten minutes. "
Say they left the classroom.
There was silence in the class for a few moments, each child was looking forward to the toffee lying in front of them and with each passing moment it was becoming difficult for them to stop themselves. Ten minutes passed and the teacher came and inspected the classroom. There were seven children in the whole class whose candies were like lice, while all the other children were eating the candy and commenting on its color and taste. The teacher secretly wrote down the names of the seven children in his diary and began teaching.
The teacher's name was Professor Walter Torch.
A few years later, the teacher opened his diary and began researching the names of the seven children. After much struggle, it was discovered that he had reached many milestones in his life and was considered one of the most successful people. Professor Walter also reviewed the rest of the students in his class. The majority of me was living a normal life, while there were some people who were facing severe economic and social conditions.
The result of all this effort and research was drawn by Professor Walter in one sentence and that was it.
"A person who can't wait ten minutes can't progress in life."
The research was well-received around the world and became known as the "Marsh Melo Theory" because the toffee that Professor Walter gave to children was called "Marsh Melo". It was as soft as foam.
According to this theory, one of the most successful people in the world, along with many other virtues, has the virtue of "patience", because this virtue increases a person's endurance, thanks to which a person can survive in difficult situations. Also does not disappoint and thus he becomes an extraordinary personality.
